THE BOTTOM — BESt Care, the authorised supplier of medical aids and supplies, will open a new store at Lambee’s Place in Windwardside on May 4, 2026, expanding access to essential healthcare products on the island.

The new location is expected to improve both the availability and accessibility of medical aids and supplies for residents, reducing the need for alternative arrangements and streamlining the distribution process.

While the opening of the store marks a shift in how most medical aids and supplies are obtained, the existing conditions under which these items are provided will remain unchanged. Reimbursement will continue to apply in line with the maximum quantities established by law. Going forward, most medical aids and supplies will be available exclusively through BESt Care.

At the same time, a number of frequently used items will continue to be available at Saba Wellness Pharmacy. These include glucose test strips and lancets for diabetes management, as well as aero chambers, injection needles, syringes, and cartridge-based injection pens.

More accesible

According to ZJCN, the introduction of the BESt Care store forms part of broader efforts to strengthen the organisation and accessibility of healthcare services on Saba.
