Buzzy Bees Inn is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead our daycare team and drive the continued growth, quality, and success of our organization. You will play a key role in shaping policies, managing operations, and creating a positive impact in the lives of children, families, and our community.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Pedagogics, Education, Child Development, Social Work, Management, or a comparable field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in childcare or early childhood education, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of child development, pedagogy, safety, hygiene, and quality childcare practices.
Proven leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, the board, and community partners.
Good command of English (verbal & written).
Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
Valid proof of good conduct, also known as a VOG.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement vision, policies, annual plans, and budgets aligned with our mission and goals.
Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, programs, after-school care, and resource management.
People Management: Lead, supervise, coach, and support staff. Handle performance management, training, and team development.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, BES(t) 4 Kids requirements, hygiene, and safety standards.
Stakeholder Relations: Communicate and collaborate with parents, staff, the board, government agencies, and community partners.
Reporting & Administration: Monitor performance, manage budgets, maintain accurate records, and report to the board.
Innovation & Growth: Identify opportunities for improvement, partnerships, and service expansion.
