THE BOTTOM, Saba – SATEL has discontinued the hand delivery of paper invoices to customers’ homes, effective August 1, 2026, citing ongoing challenges with mail delivery on Saba and the unsustainability of using private contractors for the service.
Customers are encouraged to receive their monthly invoices by email, collect them at the SATEL office, or make use of automatic payment or prepaid account options. The utility company said it will waive paper invoice fees for the July 2026 billing period and any late payment fees related to August 2026 bills to help customers during the transition.
SATEL has asked customers wishing to switch to email billing or automatic payment arrangements to contact its office.
