KRALENDIJK — Anyone who wants to learn more about the distant past of Klein Bonaire can visit the Biblioteka Publiko Boneiru on Saturday, 11 July for a special lecture evening. The research project Island Lives is organising an evening dedicated to archaeological research on the small island.

During the event, which runs from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, the researchers involved will share in detail what excavations have revealed so far about the history of Klein Bonaire. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the researchers in person and can ask questions during a Q&A session afterwards.

The Island Lives project has been researching the settlement history of the area for some time and is made possible in part by the European Union and the European Research Council (ERC).

Interested parties are asked to register in advance via a QR code on the announcement, or to visit the project website islandlives.upf.edu for more information.
