Winner of the PSV promotion announced: Micheila Trinidad travels to Eindhoven

KRALENDIJK – The winner of the ‘Bonaire goes to PSV’ promotion has been announced. Micheila Trinidad from Bonaire will soon travel to the Netherlands together with her daughter Allisha Trinidad for a unique experience centred around football club PSV and the city of Eindhoven.
During the fully paid trip, Micheila and her daughter will get to know the club, visit the PSV stadium and experience the atmosphere and culture of Eindhoven and the Brainport region.
The partnership between Bonaire and PSV was launched in 2022 with the aim of strengthening the social, sporting and economic ties between Bonaire and the Brainport Eindhoven region. From the outset, the partnership has focused on sports development, talent development, knowledge sharing and economic cooperation between the two regions. PSV organises Soccer School activities on Bonaire, supports the training of local coaches and shares knowledge in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship within the Brainport collaboration.
The partnership also pays special attention to the development of women’s football on Bonaire, with a focus not only on sporting development, but also on empowerment, health and social participation.
According to deputy Timoteo Silberie, the Public Entity of Bonaire aims to promote inclusivity, ensuring equal opportunities for everyone in the world of football. "This opportunity is not just for boys. Girls should also have the chance to develop themselves in this sport. It is also wonderful that the winner of this promotion is a woman who is already active in the football world. This experience will give her an extra boost to continue developing in this field," said deputy Silberie.
Tourism Corporation Bonaire and the Public Entity of Bonaire express their gratitude to Corendon, who is sponsoring the flights, and to Grand Windsock Bonaire, who is sponsoring the accommodation for the winners from the Netherlands.
