KRALENDIJK – Bonaire will host its first food truck festival on June 6, 2026. Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) has signed a cooperation agreement for the event with D’Su B.V., the company of entrepreneur Sulainie Martis.

The event will take place at Isidel Beach Park and will bring together more than ten local food trucks. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of street food, with a special emphasis on the island’s well-known Trùk’i Pan culture.

Focus on Local Culture and Entrepreneurs

According to TCB, the festival is intended to strengthen the local events scene while also promoting Bonaire’s culinary traditions. The participating food trucks will have the opportunity to showcase new dishes and increase their visibility among both residents and tourists.

The festival is organized by D’Su B.V., a company focused on community-oriented events. In addition to food, there will also be room for music and social gatherings.

Free Admission Event

The festival runs from 6:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and is free to attend. That evening, the beach park is set to transform into a vibrant meeting place filled with food, music, and activities.

TCB is supporting the promotion of the event both locally and internationally. According to director Elesiër Angel, the initiative fits within the island’s broader strategy. “The Bonaire Food Truck Festival gives local entrepreneurs room to grow, while showcasing our culture in an authentic, accessible, and meaningful way.”
