
KRALENDIJK – The organisation behind Dutch Caribbean Research Week 2026 (DCRW2026) has announced the speakers for this scientific study week and published the full programme online. From 17 to 24 June, conference days will take place across six Caribbean islands, focused on topics relevant to the Dutch Caribbean region.
The keynote speakers include, among others, Elly Rojer representing Bonaire, Island Governor Alida Francis of Sint Eustatius, and Raymond Jesserun of Sint Maarten. The conference will feature lectures, panel discussions and cultural activities, with the aim of bringing together researchers, policymakers and social organisations.
Dutch Caribbean Research Week is organised by the Dutch Research Council (NWO) and will take place in Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Saba, Sint Maarten and Sint Eustatius. Participation is free of charge, but registration is mandatory for both in-person and online attendance.
