PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The Government of Sint Maarten is working to strengthen economic cooperation with Miami-Dade County through a proposed sister-city relationship and a trade mission for local businesses.
During a recent visit to Miami, officials discussed opportunities in trade, tourism, entrepreneurship and knowledge-sharing with local authorities and business organisations.
The initiative also supports the Chamber of Commerce’s Roots2Routes Trade Mission, scheduled for November, aimed at helping Sint Maarten businesses expand into the U.S. market.
