KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent and the Grenadines – A creative arts initiative in St. Vincent and the Grenadines is helping young people preserve and promote the country’s cultural heritage through hands-on learning.

The Operation Nex’ Generation (O.N.G.) programme introduced participants aged 10 to 16 to folk dance, drama, storytelling, folklore and Carnival traditions, while also teaching digital content creation to document and share Vincentian culture with wider audiences.

Future Creative Arts Academy

Organisers say the programme is intended as the foundation for a future creative arts academy, where young people can continue developing their artistic talents while strengthening their connection to local culture.
