BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), UN Women Caribbean and The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill have joined forces to strengthen violence prevention across the region.
During the Caribbean Futures High-Level Anti-Violence Forum, youth leaders, policymakers and researchers from across the Caribbean met to develop locally driven solutions to challenges such as youth violence, gender-based violence and gang crime.
Organisers said the initiative aims to build lasting regional cooperation while promoting gender equality and youth empowerment as key elements of safer Caribbean communities.
