
THE BOTTOM, Saba – Every driver checked at a Saba police checkpoint on August 4 had valid papers, yet one still left without a knife. Officers inspected 26 cars and one scooter on J.Z. Ridge Road, finding full compliance across the board, but confiscated a knife found within easy reach of one driver.
During the operation, however, officers confiscated a knife that was found within easy reach of one of the drivers. No further details were released.
Police said similar traffic controls will continue as part of ongoing efforts to promote road safety and enforce the law on the island.
