
THE BOTTOM, Saba – Police conducted a planned traffic control on J.Z. Ridge Road on Friday evening, checking a total of 16 vehicles.
According to police, one warning was issued for an obscured license plate. The documents of all other drivers were found to be in order.
The traffic check took place during the early evening hours of May 29 and forms part of ongoing efforts to promote road safety and compliance with traffic regulations on the island.
Regular checks
Police said similar checks will continue to be carried out on a regular basis. Drivers who fail to carry the required documents or who violate traffic rules risk receiving fines or other enforcement measures.
