THE HAGUE – Local organisations on Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius and Saba can apply for grants to fund projects that strengthen healthcare on the islands. ZonMw has made €360,000 available for this purpose.
A maximum of €60,000 is available per project, with a maximum duration of twenty-four months. At least 75% of the budget must be spent on the islands themselves.
What Qualifies
The grant is intended for practical projects that directly contribute to better care, such as collaboration between healthcare providers, shorter waiting lists, or support for vulnerable groups such as the elderly or refugees. Healthcare institutions, educational institutions and non-profit organisations on the islands are eligible to apply, provided the lead applicant is based on one of the ABCSSS islands.
Deadlines
The mandatory pre-registration closes on July 7, 2026 at 14:00 CEST (08:00 AST). The full application must be submitted by August 25, 2026. Information sessions will be held on June 4 and June 23, 2026.
