Kralendijk – Public Entity Bonaire (PEB) is asking all existing and new pruning crews to re-register for the 2026 work year. The renewed registration process introduces a more transparent system for contracting pruning services on the island.

Starting next year, vegetation maintenance will be tendered quarterly and divided across Bonaire’s four districts to ensure a fairer distribution of assignments and a more professional workflow. Crews must re-register so PEB can maintain an up-to-date list of teams that meet basic requirements, including Chamber of Commerce registration, adequate equipment and staff, and a valid CRIB number.

Information session

An information session will take place on December 18 at Plasa Chiku Goeloe, where the procedure will be explained and crews can register on the spot. Afterwards, the form will also be available online. The new approach aims to improve fairness, quality and professionalism in the island’s maintenance work.
