KRALENDIJK - From 28 September through 9 October, the Fire Brigade Corps Caribbean Netherlands (BKCN) will be holding practical training exercises on Bonaire. Fire brigade vehicles with flashing lights and sirens will be regularly visible in the area.
During the exercises, participants from Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba will learn how to operate a fire brigade vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
The training sessions take place Monday through Friday, between 08:00 and 17:00.
BKCN asks road users and local residents to take the exercises into account and to follow any instructions given. Anyone who sees or hears flashing lights or sirens should act as they would in the case of a real emergency or rescue service.
