KRALENDIJK - Stichting Jong Bonaire is once again organizing the annual swim Swim to Klein Bonaire on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Participants swim from Eden Beach to Klein Bonaire and can then choose to swim back as well.
The event consists of two parts. At 7:30 AM the Competitive Swim starts, followed at 9:00 AM by the Recreational Swim. The distance is 800 meters one way, or 1.6 kilometers for those swimming both ways. Participants who do not swim back can make use of one of the water taxis provided by the organization.
Costs and equipment
Participation costs $30, including an event shirt and race number. Non-participants can also purchase a shirt. Participants must be in good health and physical condition, follow the event rules, and pay attention to any weather warnings. Recommended gear: sunscreen and water shoes.
