Bonaire Culinary Week: fifteen days of tasting at more than twenty restaurants

KRALENDIJK - From September 24 through October 8, the autumn edition of Bonaire Culinary Week will take place. More than twenty restaurants, cafés and bakeries will put together an exclusive menu for the occasion.
Food enthusiasts and culinary explorers can indulge themselves once again during the autumn edition of Bonaire Culinary Week. The event, which has been organized twice a year for several years now, brings together more than twenty of Bonaire’s best-known restaurants, cafés, bakeries and other culinary hotspots for fifteen days. Each participating venue will put together an exclusive menu or a special dish for the occasion, allowing visitors to discover new flavors while also revisiting their favorites.
Bonaire Culinary Week has grown in recent years into one of the island’s most anticipated food events. Regular guests return every edition to try new specials while supporting the local hospitality industry, as returning favorites and new participants showcase the diversity and quality of Bonairean cuisine.
A chance to win a chef’s dinner or BBQ evening
In addition to the exclusive menus, visitors also have the chance to win prizes. Anyone who scans the QR code at a participating venue and leaves a short review automatically enters the prize draw. Among the prizes: a five-course chef’s dinner for two at Joe’s Restaurant, a gift voucher from At Sea, a charcuterie board for two from Wines & More, breakfast for two at Flora, a BBQ dinner for two at Rum Runners, and a pitcher of sangria at Bon Tapa.
The organization, an initiative of local entrepreneurs, hopes to put Bonaire further on the international culinary map with the event. More information and the full list of participating restaurants can be found at www.bonaireculinaryweek.com.
Reservations are recommended, as availability during Culinary Week is expected to be limited.
