
KRALENDIJK – Bonaire marked International Customs Day on Monday, a day dedicated worldwide to recognizing the important work of Customs services. This year’s observance was especially significant for Customs Caribbean Netherlands with the welcoming of delegations from Curaçao, Aruba, Suriname, and the Netherlands.
According to a statement from the Caribbean Netherlands Tax Administration, under which Customs operates, the presence of these delegations highlights the importance of cooperation. “By learning and working together, we strengthen one another and are better equipped to address challenges at border crossings,” the statement said.
The Tax Administration Caribbean Netherlands expressed its appreciation to all customs officers for their commitment, professionalism, and dedication.
