KRALENDIJK – Bonairean artist Dillon Rannou has been selected for The People’s Artist, an international art platform presented by actor and artist Johnny Depp. Until Thursday, May 14, the public can vote to support Dillon in this special competition.
Dillon Rannou is known for his contemporary artworks that centre around the colours, stories, energy and culture of Bonaire.
The artist has previously represented Bonaire at international exhibitions in Amsterdam and New York, among other cities.
The winner of The People’s Artist will receive a cash prize of $25,000, will be featured in Artforum Magazine, and will have the opportunity to exhibit work at The Art of Elysium’s Salon in Los Angeles.
