Opening of new Directorate for Spatial Planning and Development building postponed to August 17

KRALENDIJK – The opening of the new building of the Directorate for Spatial Planning and Development (R&O) on Kaya Amsterdam has been postponed to Monday, August 17, 2026. Until that date, residents can visit the Permits Desk of the Directorate at Kaya Grandi 56-58 for questions and general services.

As of Monday, August 17, 2026, the new building will be officially open to the public. Residents can go there for questions and general services from the various departments of the Directorate, including Land Affairs.

The Permits Desk will not relocate to Kaya Amsterdam. For questions regarding building permits, establishment permits, nature permits, and other permit applications, residents can continue to visit the Permits Desk of the Directorate at Kaya Grandi 56-58 after August 17, 2026.

All applications, forms, letters, and other documents for the Directorate must be submitted and collected at the Post and Archive department.
