
ORANJESTAD, St. Eustatius - Korps Politie Caribisch Nederland (KPCN) is continuing its search for 12-year-old Kattaleya Margarita, who remains missing on Sint Eustatius two days after she was last seen.
According to police, the girl was last seen on Monday, May 12, at approximately 7:10 a.m. Since then, there has reportedly been no contact and her whereabouts remain unknown.
At the time of her disappearance, Kattaleya was wearing a black long-sleeve sweater, an SDA school uniform skirt, black leggings and black slippers. She is described as having short braided hair.
In an update issued by police, authorities stated they had received information indicating that the girl was seen getting into a grey car near the Census Office. KPCN is asking the driver of the vehicle to come forward, as the person may have information relevant to the investigation.
Police appeal for information
Police are urging anyone who may have seen Kattaleya, the grey vehicle, or who may have any information regarding her whereabouts to contact authorities immediately via 911 or 715-8000.
