KRALENDIJK - Scholengemeenschap Bonaire (SGB) launched a renewed corporate identity and logo on Thursday. The presentation took place during a joint study day for all employees of the educational institution.

According to SGB, the new visual identity marks a new chapter for the comprehensive school community. The logo and corporate identity are designed to embody the organization’s core values: collaboration, safety, engagement, and quality.

The logo consists of connected shapes that represent the various people within SGB: pupils, students, staff, and partners. The soft line in the middle symbolizes each pupil and student’s personal learning journey. The round, open shapes represent safety, accessibility, and equality.

"Our new logo shows what we stand for: diversity, connection, and future-oriented education," says Dennis Volmer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SGB. "It is a symbol of pride and confidence in the strength of our pupils, students, staff, and our island."

The new corporate identity will be implemented across all communication channels in the coming period, from websites and documents to signage and school materials. Students will also receive new school polo shirts featuring the renewed logo. Current polo shirts may still be worn.
