KRALENDIJK – Animal lovers on Bonaire can already mark Saturday, October 4, 2025, in their calendars. FKK Animal Rescue Bonaire will once again open its doors that day for the annual Day of Hope, an open day filled with activities for young and old.
Visitors will be welcomed between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM at Flor di Cuba 40. During the event, people can meet the animals at the shelter, enjoy food and drinks, and participate in the ever-popular raffle – where everyone is guaranteed to win a prize this year.
"The Day of Hope is a wonderful opportunity for us to involve the community more closely in our work," says the organization. "We invite everyone to come by and experience what we do for the animals that need our help."
FKK Animal Rescue focuses on rescuing, caring for, and rehoming dogs and other animals on Bonaire. In addition to adoption information and tours, the emphasis is on coming together in a friendly atmosphere.
