ORANJESTAD, St. Eustatius – The Public Entity St. Eustatius has launched a market consultation in preparation for the second phase of the Airport Boulevard road project, formally known as Theodore A.M. Pandt Road.
According to the announcement, the consultation is intended to give the island government better insight into the availability, technical expertise and financial capacity of potential road construction contractors ahead of a formal tender procedure.
Interested contractors are being asked to submit company information, financial documentation and references from similar Caribbean road construction projects. The use of local contractors is being encouraged and will form part of the award criteria during the eventual tender process.
The market consultation is not yet a formal tender. Authorities stated that no rights can be derived from participation and that the Public Entity reserves the right to amend or cancel the process.
Submissions must be provided in English and submitted digitally by June 12, 2026. According to the announcement, the formal tender process is expected to be published approximately two weeks after the consultation deadline.
