ORANJESTAD- Statia Roads & Construction has marked an important milestone for St. Eustatius with the signing of the Harbour Expansion agreement alongside the island’s government. The signing ceremony, held on November 13th, forms part of the broader redevelopment of the island’s main harbour.
Under the new contract, the company will transform the current sandy area into a modern and durable harbour zone. The scope of work includes the installation of 5,000 m² of concrete pavement, a complete drainage system, and new fencing with secure access gates.
Growth and resilience
According to Statia Roads & Construction, the project will strengthen the island’s growth, resilience, and long-term infrastructure development.
