Relief effort for Venezuela continues today: “Diapers and medical supplies are urgently needed”

KRALENDIJK - The relief effort for the victims of the earthquake in Venezuela is continuing today. Following the successful fundraising event last weekend and the initial collection drives, volunteers are once again calling on residents of Bonaire to donate relief goods on Tuesday.
From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, a collection container will be stationed at the entrance of the Stadium in Kralendijk, where donations can be dropped off.
For the upcoming shipment, however, the needs have changed. While food and clothing are still welcome, volunteers are now primarily asking for diapers for babies and adults, medicines, and medical supplies. Demand for diapers is currently very high. In addition, medicines and medical materials remain urgently needed, according to the organizers.
Required supplies
The list of urgently needed goods includes diapers, bandages, gauze, gloves, disinfectants, and other medical necessities.
The organization emphasizes that every contribution is welcome. Every donation, large or small, can make a difference for families who have lost everything.
The collection container has been provided by local entrepreneur Don Andres. Volunteers will be present today between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM to receive donations. The collected goods will subsequently be shipped to Venezuela with the next transport.
Anyone wishing to help today can visit the container at the entrance of the stadium.
