Thammy Albertsz takes over as new fire chief while Thijs Verheul bids farewell

KRALENDIJK – On August 16, Thammy Albertsz was installed as the new Commander-General of the Caribbean Netherlands Fire Brigade (BKCN).

Drawing on her experience within the organisation and her strong commitment to BKCN, Thammy is dedicated to building a fire brigade that is well-prepared, future-oriented and professional.

Farewell to Thijs Verheul

With the appointment of Thammy Albertsz, BKCN also bids farewell to Commander-General Thijs Verheul.

During his five-year tenure, Verheul made a significant contribution to the professional development of the corps. BKCN is grateful for his dedication and commitment.
