Customs officers will engage in discussions about their role in protecting society, combating illegal goods flows, and facilitating legitimate trade.
Activities throughout the week
From January 22 through 26, Customs Caribbean Netherlands is organizing various activities for the participating customs officers. These focus on knowledge sharing, regional cooperation, and deeper exploration of the WCO theme. In workshops and meetings, participants share experiences and reflect on their work in international and Caribbean contexts.
The program also includes cultural and sports activities for informal networking and connection between customs officers.
Performance ‘Grenzeloos’ (Borderless)
A special component is the performance "Grenzeloos" (Borderless), which was previously staged within Customs Netherlands. This performance invites reflection and dialogue about working at Customs and its significance for society.
