KRALENDIJK – Bonaire International Airport (BIA), better known as Flamingo Airport, has announced that work will begin this week on replacing the fence surrounding the airport.
The work will be carried out in phases, with the existing fence gradually being replaced by a new and more durable structure. The renovation is part of a broader investment in airport security.
BIA did not disclose in its announcement how long the work will take, nor what the cost of the project will be.
