WILLEMSTAD – Aerolíneas Argentinas will begin flying between Buenos Aires and Curaçao on January 2, operating four times a week in combination with Aruba. Direct flights will run on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while Monday and Thursday services will stop in Aruba en route. The connection is scheduled to run until March 29, 2027.
The route is part of Aerolíneas Argentinas’ 2027 summer schedule and marks the first direct air link between Argentina and Curaçao. A Boeing 737 MAX will be used for the service.
The new connection comes amid strong growth in Argentine tourism. Between January and July of this year, nearly 24,000 Argentine tourists visited Curaçao, a 79% increase compared to the same period last year. The Curaçao Tourist Board expects around 29,000 Argentine visitors for the full year. Until now, Argentine travelers have relied mainly on connecting flights via Panama (Copa Airlines) or Bogotá (Avianca).
