KRALENDIJK – Entrepreneurs on Bonaire can once again gather every month at a regular networking event, starting Thursday, October 15. The first edition of The Business Club Bonaire will take place at HYPE Beach Club, the former Spice Beach, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission is free, but registration in advance is required.
The initiative brings back the monthly Thursday business drinks, a tradition that ended in 2020. According to the organizers, the aim is to offer entrepreneurs and self-employed professionals on the island a regular place to meet, exchange experiences and build business contacts.
The event is organized by Paulo Allee, director of IM&D B.V., and Marcel van der Hoek, director of Acumen B.V. and sales associate at real estate agency RE/MAX Paradise Homes.
The first edition will focus on getting to know one another in an informal setting on the beach. Both established entrepreneurs and start-ups are welcome. Visitors can drop in at any time during the evening, alone or together with a colleague.
Register in advance
The number of places for the first edition is limited. Registration is possible via the website of The Business Club Bonaire. Anyone bringing a guest must indicate this when registering.
After the launch, a new edition will follow every month. At future events, local businesses will have the opportunity to host or sponsor an evening and present their activities to other entrepreneurs.
