ORANJESTAD, St. Eustatius - The St. Eustatius Tourism Development Foundation (STDF) has launched a revamped version of its official tourism website, featuring a redesigned mobile-friendly platform and new digital accessibility tools aimed at improving access to tourism information.
According to STDF, the updated website includes integrated text-to-speech functionality that allows users to have website content read aloud, making the platform more accessible to persons with visual impairments and reading difficulties.
The new website was developed in partnership with digital specialists Shift2 and SIM Caribbean and is intended to provide easier access to information on accommodations, diving, historical attractions, hiking trails, and local events on the island.
Tourism Director Maya Pandt said the redesign was intended not only to modernize the website’s appearance but also to improve how visitors interact with Statia digitally.
Updated brand guidelines
In addition to the website relaunch, STDF also introduced updated brand identity guidelines, including refinements to the island’s tourism logo and visual presentation across digital and print materials.
The renewed tourism platform became officially available online this week through the destination’s official tourism website.
