THE BOTTOM, Saba – Saba Island Registrar Akilah Levenstone is participating in a professional working visit to England from September 6 to 12, together with members of the Dutch Association of Registrars (Vereniging van Griffiers).
The programme focuses on local government administration and democratic governance and includes meetings with British local government officials and visits to Wandsworth Council and Sevenoaks District Council.
Levenstone will also attend the annual conference of the Association of Democratic Services Officers (ADSO) at the University of Warwick, where local government professionals from across the United Kingdom will discuss developments in public administration.
According to the Island Council, the visit is intended to exchange knowledge and gather ideas that could help strengthen administrative processes and governance on Saba.
