KRALENDIJK - The Public Entity of Bonaire, together with SKAL (Sekshon di Kultura, Arte i Literatura), is organizing a series of community activities in the lead-up to Dia di Boneiru on September 6. From August 31 through September 4, the public can participate in activities including karaoke, a film evening, Sip & Paint, and a Sunset Jam.
The activities are held under the slogan "Protehando nos isla" and focus on the elements that, according to the organizers, make Bonaire unique: the island’s language, culture, arts, and music. With this program, the Public Entity and SKAL aim to bring residents together and set the tone ahead of the September 6 celebration.
All activities are free of charge and will take place at SKAL, located at Kaya N.E. Craane 34. The program includes karaoke in Papiamentu on August 31 (7:00–9:00 PM), the film Nos Eskudo on September 2 (two screenings: 7:00–8:00 PM and 8:30–9:30 PM), Sip & Paint on September 3 (7:00–9:00 PM), and a Sunset Jam on September 4 (7:00–9:30 PM).
