Bonaire Hospital takes step towards more sustainable energy with installation of solar panels

KRALENDIJK – The hospital on Bonaire, part of Fundashon Mariadal, is taking a next step towards sustainability with the installation of a large number of solar panels on the roof of the hospital.

With the project, Mariadal aims to further reduce energy consumption and decrease its dependence on fossil fuels. The investment aligns with broader efforts on Bonaire to make greater use of sustainable energy.

Work is also currently underway around the hospital to resurface the road, carried out by the Public Entity Bonaire. As a result, not only accessibility but also the immediate surroundings of the hospital will receive a renewed appearance.
