KRALENDIJK – On Thursday, 5 February, at around 4:00 p.m., the central emergency dispatch center received a report of a person who had become unwell while in the sea near Klein Bonaire.
Occupants of a nearby private vessel removed the man from the water and transported him to the marina, where ambulance personnel were standing by to provide medical assistance. Upon arrival, resuscitation efforts were immediately initiated. Despite these efforts, the man could not be saved.
The victim was a 58-year-old male tourist, identified by the initials C.L., who passed away at the scene.
