KRALENDIJK – Yesterday, Dia di Boneiru was officially celebrated on Bonaire with a solemn ceremony at the government office. Various organizations, including the scouts, police, Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, and fire department, jointly brought forward the flag.
After the procession, the flag was raised with great public interest, immediately following the playing of the Bonairean national anthem.
This moment marked the start of the broader program surrounding the national holiday, with pride and unity taking center stage.
