BONAIRE – The Fundashon Tienda pa Konsumidó Boneriano (FTPKB) will launch a price comparison of building materials at hardware stores and suppliers on Bonaire in June 2026. The goal: greater transparency and better information for consumers.
The foundation will conduct the survey on a quarterly basis as part of a structural market monitoring program. This will enable consumers on Bonaire to make well-informed decisions when purchasing building materials.
Approximately 200 Products Under Review
The price comparison covers approximately 200 commonly requested products, divided across several categories: hardware, building blocks, paint, electrical installation materials, plumbing materials, roofing materials, and other building supplies.
According to the FTPKB, the price comparison is of fundamental importance in promoting market transparency and protecting the interests of consumers on Bonaire.
