KRALENDIJK - Two popular dive sites near Klein Bonaire are temporarily closed this weekend. Stinapa has closed ‘Lighthouse’ and ‘Something Special’ from Friday, June 12 at 6:00 PM until Monday, June 15 at 6:00 AM due to a sailing event involving various types of vessels.
The measure has been taken to ensure the safety of all participants and to prevent potential conflicts on the water.
Kiters at No Name Beach
On Sunday, June 14, a kitesurfing competition will also take place, during which participants will land their kites on No Name Beach at Klein Bonaire. Visitors to the island can expect kiters on the beach between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Kitesurfing is normally prohibited at Klein Bonaire. Stinapa’s Marine Park has made an exception for this event.
