WILLEMSTAD – Divi Divi Air has unveiled a specially painted aircraft to celebrate Curaçao’s participation in the FIFA World Cup. The Twin Otter received a striking blue livery as a tribute to the so-called ‘Blue Wave’ — the wave of enthusiasm with which the island’s population is rallying behind the national team.
According to the airline, the new colour scheme symbolises Curaçao’s historic achievement as the smallest country ever to qualify for a FIFA World Cup.

With the special livery, Divi Divi Air aims not only to make its support for head coach Dick Advocaat’s squad visible, but also to promote Curaçao on the international stage in the years ahead.
The aircraft’s blue design ties in with the ‘Fly the Blue Wave’ campaign, through which the airline seeks to highlight the connection between the island’s aviation sector, its people, and Curaçaoan football.
