KRALENDIJK - In the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 9, police conducted a traffic control on Kaya Gilberto F. (Betico) Croes. During the check, various vehicles were stopped and inspected, including trucks and buses.
Six fines were issued, among other things for driving without a valid driver’s license, driving without valid insurance, and driving without a seatbelt.
Two trucks were ordered to remain on the side of the road after it turned out that the drivers were unable to present the required documents. In addition, warnings were issued for driving without both license plates.
A spokesperson for KPCN warns that these planned checks will continue to take place on a regular basis.
