KRALENDIJK – Pickup Huren Bonaire is holding a fundraising campaign this weekend for the victims of the powerful earthquake in Venezuela. The full proceeds from all one-day car rentals will be donated to the relief effort.
The campaign takes place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July. The car rental company will double the total amount raised during the action weekend, meaning the final donation will be twice as high.
The proceeds will go to the Red Cross, which is providing emergency aid in the earthquake-affected areas of Venezuela. Relief workers are engaged in search and rescue operations, medical care, and the distribution of food, drinking water, and other basic necessities.
With this campaign, Pickup Huren Bonaire joins the various initiatives launched on Bonaire to support the victims of the disaster.
