KRALENDIJK – Green party Union Patríótiko Boneriano (UPB) has presented a proposal for a new approach to the maintenance and greening of Bonaire. The plan, titled “Let’s Make Bonaire Green Again”, was announced through a press release by interim party leader Jolinda Craane.
UPB is calling for the island to be divided into management zones, each with a designated responsible person. According to the party, this could contribute to better maintenance of public spaces and a more livable island, with greater attention to shade, cooling, road safety, biodiversity, and climate resilience.
