KRALENDIJK – A motorist crashed into a light pole this morning, Wednesday, July 8, at around 6:45 a.m. on Kaminda Gurubu, near Bona Vista. This was reported by the Police.
The central dispatch center received the call and sent a patrol to the scene. Upon arrival, officers found that a car had, for reasons still unknown, collided with a light pole. Ambulance personnel provided the driver with medical assistance on site.
The impact caused the light pole to fall onto the road. As a result, police have closed the road from the intersection at Mentor to the entrance of Bona Vista, allowing the relevant agencies to carry out the necessary work.
Motorists are advised to avoid this route for the next three hours.
