
KRALENDIJK - Bevolkingsonderzoek Caribisch Nederland (Population Screening Caribbean Netherlands) is holding an Open Day on Wednesday, 26 August at Fundashon Mariadal. The theme: early detection of breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer.
From 08:00 to 14:00, healthcare professionals will provide information about the screening process, the health benefits, and the importance of participation. It is also possible to make an appointment on the spot for one of the population screenings.
Bevolkingsonderzoek Caribisch Nederland already organises screening for cervical cancer (for women aged 30 to 60) and breast cancer (for women aged 50 to 75). Since April 2025, both women and men between the ages of 55 and 75 can also participate in the colorectal cancer screening.
