KRALENDIJK To mark World Heart Day, Fundashon Mariadal on Monday held a well-attended Open Day at the hospital’s main entrance. Residents and staff had the opportunity to check their blood pressure and weight, and immediately received personal advice from nurses. Cardiologists and dietitians were also available to answer questions about lifestyle, nutrition, and risk factors.
A health quiz on CPR, exercise, and cardiovascular risks attracted enthusiastic participation from all age groups. A winner has been selected and informed, and will soon receive a symbolic prize encouraging health awareness.
Prevention
The initiative, according to Mariadal reflects the foundation’s mission to go beyond medical treatment by promoting prevention and community awareness. The organization thanks all visitors and staff for their involvement.
