THE BOTTOM, Saba – A delegation from Saba travelled to Bonaire earlier this week to participate in the annual BES Summit and attend activities marking Bonaire Day.
The delegation includes Island Council members Rolando Wilson, Julio Every and Vito Charles, as well as Commissioner Bruce Zagers, Island Secretary Bram Streppel and administrative assistant Olivia Johnson.
During the BES Summit, representatives of Saba, St. Eustatius and Bonaire are meeting to discuss issues of common interest, review developments over the past year and identify priorities for further cooperation between the three public entities.
The visit also coincides with Bonaire Day, celebrated on September 6.
