
KRALENDIJK/ORANJESTAD – Two inspectors from the Public Entity Bonaire provided support to the Department of Permits, Supervision and Enforcement (VTH) of Sint Eustatius from July 21 to 28 during the carnival period.
Together with VTH staff, they carried out inspections on permit compliance, illegal street trading, food safety, calibration checks of weighing equipment, cargo unloading and other supervisory activities.
According to the authorities, the collaboration contributed to strengthening cooperation between the BES islands and provided an opportunity for knowledge exchange between the inspection services. The joint effort is intended to serve as a foundation for further cooperation in the area of supervision and enforcement.
The VTH department of Sint Eustatius expressed its appreciation for the cooperation of businesses and residents during the inspection period.
