KRALENDIJK – Bonaire has a new civil society organisation. On Thursday, 9 July 2026, the Stichting Clini Clowns Bonaire was officially established. The deed of incorporation was signed at the notary by the newly formed board.
The establishment is the result of an initiative by Fundashon Alzheimer Bonaire (FAB), which prepared the project in collaboration with Fundashon Mariadal, Zorg en Welzijn Groep, FKPD and Stichting Clini Clowns Curaçao.
The board of the new foundation consists of Shanine Cicilia (chairperson), Senaida Hart (vice-chairperson), Milena Cicilia (treasurer), Zurishaddai Tremus (secretary) and Marciano Silberie (board member).
Stichting Clini Clowns Curaçao supported the process, among other things, by drafting the articles of association, developing training proposals and drawing up job profiles for future clini clowns. Preparations began in February of last year, after which various consultations took place in the following months with the initiators and the prospective board members.
Once registered with the Chamber of Commerce, the foundation can formally begin its work.
