THE BOTTOM – Residents are invited every Wednesday to visit the market at the Saba Tourist Bureau parking lot, where locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs are offered for sale.
The produce is cultivated at the Garden on The Level by the Saba Reach Foundation, a non-profit organisation that provides training and employment opportunities for young adults and others facing barriers to the labour market.
In addition to fresh produce, eggs from Kate’s Farm are also available. The farm produces eggs locally on Saba and supplies them as part of efforts to support small-scale island agriculture.
Organisers say the initiative helps strengthen local food production while also supporting community development projects.
Residents are encouraged to support local producers and buy fresh, island-grown products each week.
